Vancouver’s 2SLGBTQ+ Tennis Group
🏳️⚧️ 🎾 🏳️🌈
The Vancouver Tennis Association (VTA) is a 100% volunteer‑run organization that fosters and promotes goodwill, fellowship, and healthy competition among players of all skill levels in the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Joining the VTA
Who can join VTA?
Membership is open to everyone. The VTA is a 2SLGBTQ+ association; we welcome everyone that enjoys the game of tennis.
We recommend members be at self-rated NTRP 2.5 level or higher (see details) to get the most from our programs. We do not offer coaching or lessons.
Membership is $50 for a year – and you can easily join online.
Is this a social or a competitive group?
The VTA has programs that cater to both, from non-competitive and more social tennis programs, through to more competitive events like tournaments and cups.
We have members at a variety of skill levels and engagement levels with the club – some prefer the more social opportunities, where as others join for the competition. The VTA can really be what you would like it to be.
As a rough guide for our programs, from least competitive to most competitive:
Most of our programs/tournaments have various levels or divisions, so that you’re playing with similar skill level players.
