2010 Advanced Tennis

This session is for high intermediate and advanced players (3.5 and higher skill level – refer to the Tennis Rating page for skill level clarification). The tennis is at a relatively high skill level and may be competitive, however, this session is still social in nature.

When : Sundays from 5 to 7pm

First Play Date: May 2, 2010
Last Play Date: Sept 5, 2010
No Sessions: July 11, 18 & 25 Due to Stanley Park Open & Aug 1 Due to VIP.

Where: Stanley Park Tennis Courts (meet at picnic table between court 1 and Fish House restaurant)

Cost: $5.00 for members, $8.00 for non-members (maximum of 2 drop-ins). Please bring your own tennis balls.

To register in person at a play session :fill out the registration form and bring the form with payment to your desired play session.

Format: Upon arrival, you will be assigned to a court. After a 30 minute shift playing doubles, the winners move up a court, and the losers move down a court. The teams then split to form a new doubles pairing.

We have reserved 6 courts at Stanley Park. We can accommodate up to 24 players on a first-come, first-served basis. VTA members registered for that evenings session have priority over players registered for other play sessions.
